About training at APT

The questions Tracy gets asked most often about the three coaching options.

  • What's included in a 1-2-1 personal training session at APT?

    A 60-minute session in the private Horley gym with exclusive use of the equipment — no waiting, no queues. Your programme is written for you in advance, and the session covers warm-up, the main strength work, conditioning where appropriate, and a short cool-down. The session is fully coached by Tracy from start to finish.

  • What's the difference between Hybrid PT and Online coaching?

    Online coaching is a bespoke programme written for you to follow anywhere — home, your own gym, on the road — with video consultations and structured support. Hybrid PT combines one or two 1-2-1 sessions per week in the Horley gym with an additional programme to follow on your own days. Hybrid is the most popular option for busy professional clients who want hands-on coaching plus a plan for the rest of the week.

  • How much does personal training in Horley cost?

    1-2-1 sessions are from £55. Hybrid PT packages are from £90 per week. Online coaching is £150 for six weeks or £240 for twelve weeks. The initial 30-minute consultation is free and there is no obligation to book.

  • Do I need to be fit before I start training?

    No. Most clients start because they want to get back into shape, not because they already are. Tracy specialises in coaching the over-45s and meets every client at their actual starting point — including those who haven't trained in years, or ever. The first session is built around what you can do today, not what you wish you could.

  • Can I switch between Online, Hybrid and 1-2-1 as my life changes?

    Yes. Many clients move between options as their work, family or travel commitments shift. There are no long contracts — most clients pay session-by-session or in blocks, and you can step up to 1-2-1 or back to online whenever it suits. Just message Tracy and we'll rearrange.

  • Do you offer nutrition coaching as part of the training?

    Yes. Tracy is a qualified nutritional adviser and nutrition guidance is woven into every programme — there's no extra charge for the basics. For specialist sports nutrition (HYROX prep, competition prep, performance nutrition), team member Tracey O'Brien runs dedicated nutrition coaching packages.
